Valentine’s Day is all about love, and at Nourish Meals on Wheels, we had the joy of delivering more than just meals—we delivered kindness, connection, and a little extra sweetness to our clients.
Thanks to Wish of a Lifetime’s Cupid Crew program, we brightened the day with 800 beautiful roses, each one a symbol of love and appreciation for the older adults we serve. But the generosity didn’t stop there!
With the help of our volunteers, we also delivered apple pies, handmade Valentine’s cards, and thoughtful crafts created by local students and community members, including those who attended our monthly Crafternoon event. Each visit was filled not just with a nutritious meal prepared in our kitchen, but with a heartfelt reminder that our clients are remembered.
Love is the secret ingredient in everything we do at Nourish, and we’re so grateful to share our hearts with those we serve.
