Whole Foods Market South Glenn Joins Nourish for an Afternoon of Service

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Whole Foods Market South Glenn to Nourish Meals on Wheels for another meaningful afternoon of service, connection, and hands-on impact.

From the moment they arrived, their team jumped right in, working alongside our volunteers and staff to support two important parts of our operation: preparing weekend meals and creating spring tray favors for our clients.

Extending Care Beyond the Weekday Meal

While many people are familiar with our daily hot meal deliveries, Nourish also additional support for clients who need more than a Monday through Friday meal.

During their visit, the Whole Foods team helped package meals that will be frozen and delivered to clients for the weekend. These meals ensure that our neighbors continue to have access to nutritious, ready-to-enjoy food even when daily deliveries are not taking place.

For many of the older adults we serve, this added support brings peace of mind, not only for them, but for their families as well.

Adding a Personal Touch

In addition to meal packaging, the team spent time creating spring-themed tray favors, small, cheerful items that are included with deliveries to brighten a client’s day.

These thoughtful touches may seem simple, but they carry a powerful message: you are seen, you are cared for, and you are part of the Nourish family.

For many of our clients, these moments of connection are just as important as the meal itself.
